Caregiving for animals has always come naturally and been a specialty of ours. We both grew up in a household with dogs and cats. Anticipating the needs of others comes naturally. We currently live in Leschi with our cat Ophelia aka "phi phi" whom we adopted in Paris while living there. Going on neighborhood walks, playing fetch in the yard and exploring is a big passion of ours with Phi.

Candice is a delight around animals and simply lights up when she's with our 2 cats and 1 dog. Candice has been walking our dog for years now and providing drop in visits to our two elderly cats who are indoor/outdoor cats (which can be stressful when away on vacation). Candice learned the ropes of our specific cats and their unique needs right away! She was gentle, calm, easy, accepting, loving, and simply at home in the presence of our animals. No request was too much and she was simply a joy to work with and have watch our precious babies. Our dog Max instantly knows when she's approaching the front door and is eager to be her in love and light :)

Schedule
I work from home part-time as an enneagram guide and am available most days throughout the week with reliable transportation. My schedule is flexible and therefore allows me to care for your pets according to your schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a beautiful part of Judkins/Mt.Baker Seattle where my home backs up to a museum, a giant park, a school and a dog park. There is nothing but park and trails around me, making it an excellent place to bring your pets on walks or to the dog park. I also have a fenced in yard and a two story home where pets are free to go on the couch and roam as they please. I don't have a dog crate but I can certainly crate your dog here or we can sleep on the bed together :)

A typical day
Neighborhood walks, hikes, the dog park, trails, parks, etc. I live next to the Blue Dog Pound and have access to many trails, parks, and outdoor space for us to roam both on and off leash together in a safe space. And of course we'll play along the way always :)
