I've loved having cats in my life since I was a child and am eager to watch yours while you are away. In addition to my own pets, I've cared for pets of friends and neighbors for many years. I delight in helping pets to feel comfortable and normal when their families are gone and routines are a bit different. I also ran a pool maintenance business in graduate school, so I'm happy to help with some odd house sitting tasks if needed.

I prefer visiting pets in their own homes - this normally makes them more comfortable and helps keep routines consistent. I can spend partial days at your home if you pet needs a bit more attention.

Candice is an amazing pet sitter. We had some last minute plans come up for us, and she did her best to fit our cat’s medicine into her booked schedule. She then went the extra mile to ask for a towel to wrap our cat so he was comfortable when getting his eye drops. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to help their pets who need specialized instructions. Thank you, Candice!
After a week being gone, Griffin seemed well cared for by Candice and the house was in good order, water fountains filled, litter clean etc. We appreciated the updates and pictures. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that the first part of the week Candices visits were only around 10 min long. Our electronic door lock alerts us whenever someone enters or leaves with their unique code. I had expressed at our initial meeting that Griffin being an only pet and used to a lot of human interaction, needed some company and play time. Once I addressed this with Candice, she immediately started staying the full half hour and we really appreciated that.

Candice is a thoughtful, caring, 10/10 pet owner who boarded our cat while my family and I were temporarily homeless. She sent daily pictures and updates while my cat quickly warmed up to her and her family. I'm sure my cat felt more like he was on vacation in her beautiful home with lots of room to explore. To anyone searching for cat boarding, I hope they can hear me screaming "Candice H." from the rooftops.
Candace did an excellent job caring for our two cats while we were on an extended vacation. She left good updates with photos and the cats seemed very comfortable around her. I would use Candace again and recommend her to other pet owners looking for a reliable and quality sitter. Thank you.

Schedule
I work from home during the week days, so I can find time to visit with your animal before work, during breaks and lunch time, and in the evenings.
