Im a dog lover at heart and mind, with a history of dog training (agility and obedience) and multiple references for dog sitting. I do work full-time with a flexable schedule which allows me a lunch break for extra care. Feel free to make contact with any questions. About this sitter: Im an outgoing, energetic, pet loving person. I lost my girl Arwen who I had for 16 years. I am available for house sitting with morning and evening drop by or overnights. Feel free to make contact with any questions. Depending on distance from work I may be able to do lunch time drop bys also. Cost and needs, with length of time and number of pets, may be negotiable. Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover my entire life...I grew up with multiple kinds of dogs; poodles to black labs. After college I adopted a cat then settling down here in RVA where I rescued Arwen, my mini-Australian Shepard. We had a history of obedience and agility training, she was CGC certified. My experience administering medication Yes, I have given medication to multiple dogs and cats.

Candice accommodated my reactive Aussie who is very distrusting of new people. She gave her space and let my doggo make all the moves which I really appreciate. She’s been communicative the whole time and sent pictures! I will definitely be using her again now that my dog has built some trust with her.
She is a wonderful person; the care she provided for my baby was excellent. He was very happy and comfortable with her, and she sent me updates on his care and how he was behaving! I would definitely love for her to look after my baby Sirius again.
I give Candice a five star rating. She was very quick to respond to my request, especially for such a short notice. Candice also was so thoughtful to send us a picture of our dog Davey, during her visit. Thank you again Candice
Candice is amazing!!! I don't have any human children and Daisy is my only Fur Baby so it's always extremely hard to leave her. Candice was so caring and welcoming, Daisy felt at ease almost immediately which provided a level of comfort and peace that I haven't experienced with any other sitter. The pictures and updates allowed me to further relax, especially considering how happy my baby looked. I highly recommend Candice and will definitely contact her first for all of my pet-sitting needs.
Boogie had a great time staying with Candice and Arwen. I would definitely be booking with Candice again and will recommend.
Cooley's first time being away from home was the best experience ever thanks to Candace. Candace took him in and treated him like he was her own. Arwin, Candace's dog and Cooley got along so well together and normally he doesn't do well with other dogs. I would definitely recommend her for your dog sitting needs. She's such a caring and honest person that truly loves all pets. I was updated with messages and pictures the whole time he was there. Feel free to look at his stay pictures. They are so cute. We already have a trip planned in July and he will be staying with Candace again. I'm so happy to have found her. Schedule
I do work full-time near Chippenham and Midlothian Turnpike, so if close I can do a lunch drop by. Currently I am available for house/dog sitting including overnights at your home or mine.

I am a k9 lover and would spend as much time loving, petting, and cuddling your pup as they would like. Walks are important, short or long, and outside hikes for nice days are great also.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I usually do neighborhood walks, which goes smoothly. If an extended stay, I regularly do hikes, river walks, dog parks, Stony Point. Time I'll spend with your dog Other than work, Im pretty much a home-body.
