I had a wonderful experience with Candice taking care of our senior pup! She is very communicative, sent lots of picture updates, and is such a pleasant sitter to work with. Candice is one of the best pet caretakers I know. She brings a great deal of love for animals of all shapes and sizes, an uncanny intuition, and practical skills from her years of nursing. The best testimonials would come from the cats and dogs that have lived long, healthy, and happy lives with her. I'll paraphrase for them: loads of "purrs" and plenty of *tail wags*
Candice has amazing experience with pets (dogs, cats, and even rats!). She has patience in abundance and can go the distance for walks. She has trained 2 dogs and numerous rats using positive reinforcement methods. She is thorough in her research and only uses products (toys, food, accessories) that are of the highest quality for the animals in her care. It is a testament to her abilities that her pets have lived very long and healthy lives (her last cat passed at 20 years old!) As a new dog owner myself, Candice is my go-to for all things dog-related. She is my dog’s emergency contact and I know I can count on her.
