Many of my clients refer to me as a Dog Whisperer — I connect with dogs naturally and treat them with the same care and respect as my own. I've been caring for pets professionally through Rover since 2016, and privately for friends and community members for many years before that. Wilbur Duke, my 15 lb Yorkshire Terrier, accompanies me on visits. He's house-trained, well-mannered, and gets along great with other dogs. He loves playing in the yard and has joined me on many house-sitting stays, where he's always been a calm, easygoing guest. Clients tell me it's a comfort having a well-behaved dog around during a stay — he tends to put other pets at ease. I offer doggy daycare and in-home house sitting, including extended stays for snowbirds during the winter months. I'm comfortable with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and routines. My priority is always your dog's comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. I previously operated a small ranch with various animals, including horses, and today I live on a small ranch with horses and chickens. While my yard itself is not fenced, there is a large fenced pasture adjacent to my home where dogs can safely run, explore, and play. When staying in your home, I leave your space clean and cared for. I can also manage basic household duties while you're away — plant care, light tidying, mail/packages, feeding birds, and maintaining daily routines. Your dog's happiness matters, your home matters, and I show up for both.
