I currently work from home and can provide multiple walks again. We also have a large fenced in back yard allowing for lots of play with the other dogs! We live near lots of trails if your dog prefers walks in the woods or along the river!

Prior to booking I would like to know how your dog is with other dogs, how they react when meeting other dogs on leash. This provides me an opportunity to know whether or not they should be walked solo or if they can have play dates. I would also like to know if your dog has any special needs.
A typical day
I love going on long walks and love having some furry companions to keep me company on my adventures. Many of my walks are through the local trail system or through my neighbourhood.

Pet care experience
I love being surrounded by dogs (and so does my family)!! I have two dogs of my own, both very friendly shih tzu's (Tank and Tucker) as well my gecko "skittles". I have had dogs for the last 25 years including experience with both large and small breeds. For the Iast year, I have been assisting with local rescues, housing and training dogs to be ready for their new home. I believe in positive reinforcement and a providing a calm, relaxed environment for your pet when you are away. I would love to help you out providing care for your pets and/or take them for walks during the days while you are out. I am happy to accommodate the individual needs of your dog and you can trust that your fur baby will be in good hands with me! I have a flexible schedule and will be able to accommodate any of your dogs needs. I am a happy responsible and caring individual. I look forward to hearing from you.

Candace was wonderful - it was our first time leaving our rescue (10 nights) and she, her canine companions, and family all did a wonderful job welcoming a fearful but loving pup.
My dog had another great visit with Candace while I was away for a family commitment. He is always so excited to visit there and this time even started crying to go in as soon as we pulled up. Candace is awesome!

Candace continues to be an amazing dog sitter for my 1-year old pup. I really appreciate her responsiveness as well. She is always super pleasant and my dog has the best time at her house. He always comes home happy!
