My name is Candace, and I am a reliable and loving pet care provider with a background in Veterinary medicine. I have experience in handling and caring for animals of all sizes and species. I've spent the last 16 years building long lasting relationships with animals and their owners. Your pets happiness and care is my priority. I strive to provide care and love, so much that your pet won't even realize you're away! I grew up with dogs all my life but currently I have 2 dogs; one is a 6 year old Boston bulldog, and the other is a 3 year mix. I am usually always available for all your pets needs and on short notice. I am very comfortable with distributing any medication your pet may need, and I have experience in giving IV fluids and injections. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Candace was awesome! It's always scary to leave your pet with someone new, but I felt super comfortable with Candace. She sent us photos each day and the look of peace on my dog's face said everything I needed to know. My dog takes medicine and has a lot of allergies, about which Candace was very conscientious. I will absolutely hire Candace again without reservation.
Candace was really thoughtful and took great care of my puppy and my place. She made sure my dog got plenty of time to play which I appreciate the most!
Candace was great and accommodated us with last minute requests.
Candace did a great job with my pup, even though he was very shy, she got him to got out. I will use her again when I need someone to watch my pup.

Schedule
Pet sitting is my full time gig, so you will never have to worry about your pet not getting the attention that they deserve. My days consist of over night stays, and dog walking and your pets are my first priority!

Safety, trust & environment
If house sitting I spend the whole night into the morning and if time/schedule allows a majority of the day with your pet. I do step out here and there for drop in visits/ walks with other clients. I strive for a cage free, loving, accepting environment, and try my hardest to never go more than 4 hours without stopping to check in and give some extra loving! I strive to keep your pet alone for as little time as possible. (Please continue reading below for rates, reviews, and about my typical days with your pet.)

A typical day
I love to be outside, so if your pet does too, that is where we'll be! If house sitting your dog can come on adventures with me if you allow, and we will have lots of cuddles, play time, and plenty of walks!

- I require all dogs in my home to be up to date on distemper, bordetella, and rabies, and proof must be provided. Pets must be on flea and tick protection. Dogs must show no aggressive behavior towards other dogs, and/or children. All male dogs must have no history of marking please! Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, or of any qwerks, or medications I may need to be aware of! Blankets, or bed, and food is requested during their visit. If crate trained I have extra so no need to haul yours! Please note I am willing to travel up to 12 miles however will travel up to 20 for $3 more per additional mile per visit due to rising gas prices! The final price will be modified after request is sent!
