My lifelong love for animals began as the neighborhood cat sitter and grew into a family passion for caring for dogs. Since joining Rover in 2015, I’ve had the joy of hosting over 300 dogs—from playful puppies to senior pets requiring medication and special care. In addition to dogs, I have extensive experience caring for cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and I’m comfortable supporting pets with unique routines or specialized needs. Recently, I transitioned from a partnership to running my pet sitting business solo. While Eric is no longer regularly involved, I remain fully committed to providing attentive, personalized care for every pet. After the loss of our beloved Buddy, we have recently welcomed a new puppy, Enzo, who stays home with my husband while I care for your pets. I’m happy to introduce him if your dog would enjoy a companion, but I typically keep him home to ensure your pet receives my full attention. Alongside pet care, I offer full-service house sitting with the utmost discretion and professionalism. I’ve cared for high-end homes with attention to detail, security, and respect for your space—ensuring everything is just as you left it when you return. I treat every animal like family, and even the most anxious pets quickly settle into a calm, comfortable routine with me. I love it when I come home from Vacation to happy pets!! Candace went above and beyond to care for our furballs. There simply aren’t enough thank yous to share our appreciation. Wonderful house and pet sitting experience!!
Candace is a wonderful dog sitter. She truly understands individual dog personalities and takes the time to get everything just right. Her attention to detail and approach gave me complete peace of mind. I would absolutely hire her again and highly recommend her.
Candace did a great job with our 3 girls (all 60+ lb dogs). She sent me photos during the visit and took great care of our home. Would definitely recommend!
As always (our 4th-5th time with her, will book again!) Candace was fabulous. Our pup is always happy and healthy when we get home and we are kept up to date throughout the sit. Candace has also even washed her linens etc. which isn’t expected but a lovely surprise!
Wonderful experience with Candace! She took great care of my pup and my home for several weeks while I was traveling. She was very communicative, respectful, and went above and beyond her responsibilities. She carefully watered the house plants and even refilled the hummingbird feeder! Candace’s attention to detail is unmatched, and I look forward to working with her again in the future. Highly recommend.
Candace was, as always, fabulous! Our pup was (and always is) super stoked to see Candace which makes us feel happy we are all in good hands. She kept us updated, took the pup on solid walks, and the house was in great shape. She even went above and beyond by stripping the bed etc.! Not expected but very thoughtful. This was our third booking with her and we look forward to working with her again.

Harmonogram
Being a remote IT professional, I set up my workspace where the pets hang out, like the dining room, kitchen counter, or living room. Dogs make the best co-workers! I have the ability to take several breaks throughout the day for short walks or playtime outside. After work and on weekends, I enjoy longer walks, snowshoeing on the trails, or just snuggling up and watching TV...depending on your dog's needs. I'm somewhat of a homebody so once I get settled, I spend a lot of time at home with your pets.
