For the past four years, I have been fostering cats and dogs with a local rescue. I have fostered over fifty cats and four dogs during that time. When fostering you have to pay attention to any and all changes in behaviour, eating, drinking, and toilet habits. I have experience administering oral medication, eye drops, training dogs, and experience with anxious animals.

Schedule
I am a youth counsellor in the community so my time is split between being at home and meeting my clients. I am rarely gone for more than 4 hours at a time and can make my own schedule which allows great flexibility depending on what the animals in my care need. I am typically home on weekends and this is where I can provide even more movement, mental stimulations and cuddles for your pet.

For dogs in my care I like to take daily walks. I also have a backyard (not fenced) where they can go for more frequent bathroom breaks. I love playing with them and using games with mental stimulation to keep them busy and entertained. In my home all fur babies are allowed on furniture. For cats I have a dedicated cat room filled with cat towers, scratching posts and toys. I like to spend time everyday playing with them to keep them entertained. A typical day
I love using mental stimulation to keep animals entertained, I have treat puzzles, lick mats, snuffle mats, slow feeders. Physical activity is also very important and playing with toys inside, going for walks or playing fetch are also how I keep them active.
