With over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, I bring a calm, reliable, and attentive approach to pet care. I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies to senior pets needing medication and extra patience. What sets me apart is my ability to read animal behavior and respond appropriately. That might mean giving a shy cat space to warm up or redirecting an anxious dog with structure and routine. I don’t currently have pets of my own, so your animal gets my full attention and care. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I’m committed to maintaining their routines, keeping them safe, and making sure they feel secure and cared for in your absence.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible to reduce stress and keep them comfortable. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication schedules as instructed, and I make sure to give pets the attention, playtime, and quiet time they’re used to. I always keep the home clean and secure which means tidying up after the pet, locking up carefully, and being respectful of the space. I take notes on any changes in behavior, eating, or bathroom habits, and communicate regularly with updates and photos so you’re always in the loop.

Schedule
I’m currently a neuroscience PhD student, which gives me a flexible schedule that works well for pet care. I’m available for morning and evening visits throughout the week, and I keep weekends open for more extended stays, drop-ins, or walks. My academic schedule allows me to plan ahead and adjust as needed, so I’m able to accommodate most routines and time-sensitive needs. Whether your pet thrives on early walks or evening attention, I can be there to make sure they stay comfortable and cared for.

- It’s important for me to know your pet’s routine, medical needs, dietary restrictions, behavioral quirks, and how they typically react to new people or environments. If they have any triggers (like loud noises, other animals, or certain handling), I want to be prepared to keep them calm and safe. I also appreciate knowing their favorite toys, activities, and any training cues you use so I can keep things consistent while you’re away.
