I grew up with a spunky black lab who lived to be 16 years old. Now I get to live with my sibling and my dog-niece who I also hope lives a long, healthy, happy life! We've been housemates for a few years now. Gently combing her curly hair is my favorite. I have an adaptable flow where I can give a pet activity if they are young and need it, or take it easy if they are older. I work with a flexible schedule from my laptop between Salt Lake County and Utah County, so I can adapt to your needs too!

Safety, trust & environment
If it's possible for me to come to you and get acquainted with your pet before overnight stays, I'd prefer that for more easeful transitions. If you come to my place, my apartment complex has green spaces and waste bag dispensaries distributed throughout the property where I walk my dog-niece in the evening. But during the day the dog is away with my sibling and I'm all alone. So your pet will have my attention. I'll ensure pets have their own separate, undisturbed sleeping space. If I come to your space, then of course your pet will be most familiar and cozy.

Camlyn is one of the most intentional and responsible people I know. We co-fostered a cat together, and despite not having much experience with cats at the time, she was curious, communicative, and so loving towards our small friend. Camlyn is responsive to input from all beings— the people in their life as well as the non-verbal cues from pets. Camlyn will be an excellent caregiver for pets of all sizes.
I've know Camlyn for about 4 years, and she has always been kind and full of positive energy. When I first introduced my Kitten to her, he immediately felt comfortable with her. It's like she was her human. After years of struggling with sobriety, I decided to go to rehab which forced me to find a temporary home for him. I asked Camlyn to help me find a foster parent which she delivered. The girl who fostered him would sometimes travel, and Camlyn would volunteer to babysit while she was away. She fostered him for 7 months and Camlyn helped her during this time. I'm recovered and have a stronger bond with my son because she helped with this difficult time of my life.

Schedule
I like to first ask what schedule or routine your pet is used to and see how closely I can match that and their temperament. I'm used to an easeful morning, getting sun during lunch, and then some other kind of outing later in the evening even if it's just a walk. I like to try to make it to a team meeting Thursdays and Fridays in Salt Lake. I can time it so I'm not gone for long, or I can reschedule meetings depending on the circumstances, commute, animal temperament, etc. I'm happy to come to your place or host your pet at mine. I'm in a condo so I'll limit my boarding services to one pet at a time.
