Availability
I am home during the days with a flexible schedule, so walks at any time of the day can work. Generally a morning, lunchtime, or late afternoon walk are the preferred times. I currently have daily mid-day regulars that I walk. Depending on the dogs personality and suitability with other dogs, I walk with a pack or individually.

If a dog is staying with me, I take them on a walk first thing if their owner hasn't already done so. This way, they are starting on the best foot forward. I have a dog at home, so I do an intro of the dogs on 'neutral' territory, there is a laneway and Bruce trail across from so I ask that their owner does a quick walk with the dogs and myself. I do potty breaks every 0-2 hours, either to go on a short walk, or ball throw. I also do 5-10 minute training sessions to keep the dogs entertained and stimulated. I also ask that the dogs bed and an article of clothing of the owners comes with them, so they have a space that is their own and familiar. This will help the dog settle in. Favourite toys or treats are also recommended.

Information Camille S. would like to know about your pet
I have a dog at home, so if you dog does not get along with other dogs, my home will not be suitable for your dog. It is important for me to know basic info about your dogs personality and any on-going training (i.e. dominant or domicile, training commands, on or off-leash walks, and possessiveness or aggresion). I have a dog at home - he is very playful, and can get up in dogs personal space when they first meet. We are working on boundaries, but if you dog is aggressive with behaviour like this, then we will not be a good match.
A typical day
I love to go on trail runs and walks with the dogs. I frequent the bruce trail and kolapore trails and am always looking to explore new places and stimulate the dogs with new scents. I like to work on basic obedience training, and hide-and-seek with the dogs throughout the day to keep them mentally stimulated. Fetch is also a great go-to activity!

Pet care experience
I grew up with many pets in my house - 3 dogs and 2 cats! I went for daily walks with the dogs in my local ravine growing up. Each dog having it's own very unique personality and quirks provided me with a breadth of experience. I believe obedience and rules are the foundation of a well behaved dog. As well, a well exercised dog is a well behaved dog. Structure is very important and I will always make a dog work for their treat. I try to continue any on-going training for the dogs I am walking or sitting. I was finally able to get my own dog as an adult - who I have had since 2021. I rescued my dog, Arlo, when he was ~4 months, and have given him a loving home since! I worked with a trainer when I got to him and learned a lot about dog (and human) behaviours.
Reviews

Camille is so wonderful with our Frenchie, Hank. He’s not an easy walker but Camille is so positive and patient with his stubborn bully personality. Highly recommended her!

Thank you Camille! My dogs warmed up to Camille within minutes on our meet and greet and are enjoying her visits! Absolutely confident in Camille, highly recommend her services 😁

Camille was absolutely excellent. Communication was smooth and proactive. She took the time to do a meet and greet and took such great care of our pup. Highly recommend her.
