Calm and quiet animal lover!
"Wow! I've never seen them warm up to someone so fast before," is a phrase I hear frequently when caring for pets. I am a fairly small person who speaks and walks quietly, making me the ideal candidate for caring for your fur babies. Whether your pet is anxious, elderly, or a bundle of energy, my temperament has proven to make introductions smooth, and pet sitting a breeze. I pride myself in being very well versed in animal behavior cues, and will put your animal's safety AND their comfort as my #1 priority. I am able to provide a warm, welcoming, and calm environment, with the added bonus of working remote full time. Day or night, I am able to care for and stay with your pet while you enjoy your trip. I have experience training puppies for friends and family, and have worked with Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Border Collies, and Australian Shepherds. Additionally, my childhood dogs were anxious (and occasionally grumpy) small rescues, so I am incredibly familiar with caring for small reactive breeds. You'll see in my photos that dogs tend to glue themselves to me. Some of the photos are of dogs I am very close to, hence the close proximity. I maintain my commitment to following your own dog's body language cues.

Meeting an animal in their own environment can be tough. I always allow the animal to make an introduction to me on their own terms to avoid unnecessary anxiety. If that means quietly sitting on the couch until they are comfortable enough to approach me, or if they instantly greet me at the door, I will meet your animal at their own pace!

Schedule
I work remote full time Monday-Thursday and every other Friday. As a salaried employee, I have the freedom and flexibility to care for your animal on their own schedule. As long as you have wifi, I can meet you wherever you are!
