Availability
I work from home and regularly care for my neighbor's pets in the Bryant and nearby areas. Alas I have no furry pets, so I borrow and dote on yours! This means treats, super cute photos, and loads of positive reinforcement. I respond to all messages so if you think I might be a good fit, definitely reach out! Reactive Dog Availability: For safety, I can't take highly-reactive lunging pups over 50 lb on walks. We can discuss your dog's behavior to determine if this includes your pup.

Safety, trust & environment
Due to my experience owning a leash/fence reactive dog, I am hyper-aware of my surroundings on walks and drop-ins. I find it's always best to be proactive, avoid any upcoming triggers, and maintain as tranquil an experience as possible. For safety I practice teaching dogs to sit and wait before exiting doors and gates, and I ensure all latches/pen doors are closed properly. I do not have a car and would need to borrow a vehicle (I have a no-car driver's insurance policy and a license) or bill your account for a rideshare service or pet taxi to get your pet to an emergency vet.
Information Camille M. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has any special needs that I'm qualified to take care of I'm happy to do so. Especially tell me if they have any medication they are on, or have any dietary restrictions. If your dog has food or toy protectiveness, any reactivity, or if you've got a special treat for them, please let me know. Emergency Preparedness: I will also ask that veterinarian information and an emergency contact number be made available. Please let me know how you usually transport your pet to the vet, crated, roaming in the car etc.
A typical day
I enjoy training activities. I will work on whatever commands you have started or my own. Sit, wait, lay down, and stay could always use work. I don't own puzzle toys but would use any you own. I especially like rolling treat dispensers and teaser sticks.

Reliable, Patient Animal Lover
Pet care experience
I love dogs and take lots of great photos! But let not my artistic eye sway you, I've cared for pups for over 30 years. Reactive dogs included as I have a soft spot for and experience training fear/frustration reactive pups. No matter your dog's temperament I adore watching them get excited to head out into the neighborhood for a good long sniffari. I will do basic training work while we walk depending on the dog's needs, so please feel free to show me how you are working on a command. My training is positive reward-based which means I carry single ingredient treats like dehydrated liver and rabbit meat. I'll check with you before treating :) If that sounds fabulous please send a message, I'm very quick to respond and I'm currently expanding my pack in Seattle.

Reviews

Camille goes above and beyond to care for our giant breed puppy, educating us humans and giving our pup amazing love, care, and manners lessons!

Camille was amazing and walked our dog all week while I was out of town. She took great pictures, left nice notes, and was great with our reactive guy. Thank you Camille!

Camille was great! She stayed with our dog for two drop-in visits over a weekend. We did a meet and greet ahead of time and felt extremely comfortable having Camille look after our dog. She does great updates and extensive Card summaries. Wouldn't hesitate to book her again!
Camille is wonderful and patient and our dog is very happy to see her whenever she comes!
