Availability
I work full-time during the week until 3:30 pm, which means I'm available early to care for your pets after work! I also usually work from home on Fridays. On the weekends, I am fully available for your pets' needs. I usually would include a longer walk on Saturday and/or Sunday.

When I housesit, I always follow your preferred guidelines when it comes to your pet's comfort, schedule and routine. As for my own home, I live in a small apartment on the 4th floor of a building (with balcony) so I can only board small pets and pets who are plant savvy. I live close to Dow's Lake which is amazing for walks along the canal and the Arboretum.

I always like to know the general behaviour I should expect from your pet, i.e. if they are playful, jumpy, anxious, reactive with other dogs on walks, cuddly, etc., their regular routine for feeding and, of course, if they have special needs when it comes to medication or any particular things to note.
A typical day
When caring for dogs, a typical day would include plenty of pets and cuddles, play time and a nice walk outside to get some exercise and good sniffs. On the weekend, I like to go walk on trails and can drive us to a nearby park or bike path for a change of scenery, if there are none close to your home! I'm also a big talker and love to converse with pets ;) When caring for cats, I ensure I keep up with their regular feeding routine, pet them (if they allow and like it), scoop their litter and spend some relaxing time inside the house in case they want to cuddle. If I see they are feeling up for it, I'll include some play time as well!

I have been my friends & family's pet sitter for many years. I have lived with and taken care of different breeds, but I have more experience with medium to larger dogs. I have always loved going on long walks with dogs, and can handle the ones with leash aggression. I am extremely patient and will meet a dog where they are! I have some experience (and a lot of interest) with dog training as well as caring for puppies. I always make sure my dogs are well taken care of with fresh water, preferred food schedules, walks and plenty of cuddles and play time.

I had the opportunity to travel to Ireland to visit my daughter for a few weeks , but leaving my three cats behind felt overwhelming, especially because they were outdoor cats and needed extra attention and care. Then I found Camille, and everything changed. She was willing to stay at my home and care for them, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Over the last two years Camille has taken care of my 2 cats while I've been away on holidays sometimes for several weeks at a time. She is responsive to requests answering messages quickly. She is also proactive suggesting alternate dates when she is is not available for those initially requested which makes planning and agreeing to times lots easy. Camille is reliable seeing through commitments. Food is dispensed and litter cleaned as required. My cats are 7 year old strays, fussy, skiddish and easily frightened by strangers and unfamiliar smells and noises. It requires that sitters be very patient and loving which Camille is. I would know by their demeanour upon my return if it was otherwise. She also stays at my place so as to be with the cats as much as possible and by extension cares for my condo as well. I trust her implicitely with my belongings as she is honest and mature enough to do so. The place is always as I left it.I wholeheartedly recommend Camille for your pet sitting needs.
There’s no one I trust more with my animals than Camille!! She cared for my dog (golden retriever) and cat on several occasions over the past 5 years including overnight visits. She has always been my go-to pet sitter because I know she cares for my animals as if they are her own. She frequently sends photos and updates so that I can have peace of mind knowing that they are well cared for while I’m away. She is very dependable and flexible and is usually available on short notice to take my dog for a walk or check in on my cat if I have to work late unexpectedly. She always ensures my animals have enough food and water, walks them, plays with them and is very thorough and keeps on top of the litter box. On one occasion, my dog was sick and taking medication and she was more than capable of handling this task, I never had to worry that my dog wouldn’t get the medication and I felt comfortable that she would notify me if there was any change in his condition. I highly recommend Camille if you are looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy pet sitter who will love your animals as much as you do!
