I have always loved animals. I dreamed of having a dog as a child. I had encyclopedia books about dogs and all the different breeds and spent many hours daydreaming about what dog I would get, what I would name him, and all the love we’d share. My parents were not “animal people,” but they eventually gave me a cat when I was 16 and I was thrilled. I never NOT had a pet since. And 15 years ago, I finally lived in a space that allowed dogs and I finally realized my childhood dream of getting a dog! For a long time, I had a cat and a dog, best of both worlds. Then the cat passed and a child arrived. People always told me when I had my own child that the dog would become “just a dog.” However, this was not the case for me. He was always my baby, an important member of my family. He never was “just a dog.” Well, after 15 years of love and life shared with my boy, he recently crossed the rainbow bridge. My heart is broken and I miss him terribly, and for the first time since I was 16, I was without a pet. To feed my heart, I fostered and took on serving others as a pet sitter/dog walker! I always toyed with the idea of working on Rover but my past dog didn’t do well with other dogs, so I put that thought on the back burner. But now is the perfect time to turn a new chapter. Will you let me love on your fur baby? I hope so! A little about me, I work full time from home and I am only in office twice a week. Fridays, I go in the office for 6 hours currently. I put that out there in case your dog cannot be alone that long, you'd know upfront. I mostly work from home the rest of the week, otherwise. I live in the Mar Vista area in a two bedroom townhome in a very pet friendly neighborhood. I keep a clean home and always allowed my doggie to enjoy the sofa and sleep in my bed. So can your pup! I adore dogs and will honor whatever schedules or routines you may have, so your dog will always feel safe and loved when with me. My husband works from home, as well, and my 10 year old daughter is a pet lover too, so there will be multiple people to love your dog should they come stay with us! I am very caring, compassionate person with a lot of love to give, especially to animals.
