I'm currently taking a leave from my full-time work, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet. I can take care on weekends and holidays, if booked with a minimum time beforehand.

Safety, trust & environment
In my house, all pets are free to go anywhere in the house and are allowed on the couch and bed. I will keep what the owners want for their homes. I love cuddling with pets, brushing their hair and spending time outdoors in the sun.
Information Camila T. would like to know about your pet
Give me information on any special needs, meds, things to keep an eye on. I'd like to know if they have any fears or traumas, if they know commands and what are the favorite activities for us.
A typical day
I love playing catch and going on walks. Besides exercising and releasing energy, I consider important to have leisure and slower walks where dogs can sniff and investigate the environment. This is important for their cognitive stimulation and socialization within their surroundings. I love teaching and practicing tricks and commands with dogs. I only use positive reinforcement, so if punishment or fear-based training is used, I won't be able to help out.

Experience and lots of love for pet
Pet care experience
I've had pets all my life, always being a part of their care. My mom used to rescue cats from the street and nowadays she is a supporter of many different rescuers, helping finding safe homes to rescued animals. My first pet (that I was fully responsible for) was an amazingly sweet cat when I was 8 years old. I adopted my cat Artemis in 2015 and my dog Odie in 2017 while in college. They have been by my side throughout the years, including moving between cities and, finally, moving from Brazil to US. Bringing them, with all the paperwork and logistics, was the hardest and longest task I had so far in my life, but it was worthy it even before I achieved it. They are one of my top priorities in life. I give a lot of love and attention to animals, but I also respect their space when they need some. I started learning basic dog training in 2020 during the pandemic and I aspire to fully train Odie to become a psychiatric service dog for me. While taking care of other dogs, I can keep the necessary positive reinforcements needed for their training for those already trained or I can begin a basic introductory training if the dog has never received any of it.
Reviews

Hands down best dog sitter we have ever had. My wife and I never had the best luck with rover. In AZ we used a privatized dog/house sitter business because other sitters on rover were either mean or charging like crazy. But Camilla isn’t like that, she is priced reasonably, and when we needed someone to stay with our cat and dog for 2 weeks to handle some family business she didn’t hesitate. She set up a meet promptly and listened to the needs we laid out for the animals. Spent some time with them and then said yes. The actual time she watched them was amazing! Updated everyday with photos. She was very good about gauging the feelings of our boys. And when we finally came home they seemed excited but also relaxed like we had just stepped out for a bit. When she came to drop off the keys our boys both came to the door to greet her. So glad we found her, thanks again for being so awesome!!

Camila did a wonderful job watching my cat and administering her medication. She was responsive to my last-minute scheduling request and provided detailed daily updates. I would definitely recommend her!

Camila met our dog where she was at. Rosie is very sensitive to loud noises and surprises. Camila comforted her when needed and avoided triggers (there is loud construction equipment in our neighborhood sometimes). Camila was punctual and alerted us when plans changed unexpectedly. We would definitely choose her again.

Our Sokka received excellent care from Camila! She was great at providing feedback from their visits and was very attentive to his needs! She was able to be booked last minute in a crunch! We are very happy with her! Thanks you Camila!
