I am a student with a light spring-semester workload and work part-time. My mornings are very free for any walks or check-ins needed, as well as throughout the day (lunchtime, dinnertime, and so on). I am available for overnights during the weekends or even weeknights! My schedule is very flexible and I am happy to accommodate with clients to ensure pets are getting the attention they need.

It is vital to me that both pets and clients feel comfortable. When coming into your home, I always make sure I have properly communicated how to keep your pet safe. If I am walking them, how can I expect them to react when seeing people or other pets? In your backyard, what behaviors should I expect? I am on alert for any odd behaviors and update clients with pictures or videos daily should they want them! Furthermore, I am always careful to read pets' body language to ensure I am not overstepping in their home and that they feel comfortable with me. I also am happy to meet with clients before beginning care to learn about their home and their pet's needs.

Pet care experience
Dogs have been a part of my life from a very young age! Not only do I adore them as companions and life-long friends, but I feel that they deserve the same respect and care we would grant to any other family member. I have engaged in a huge range of pet-care, from training energetic young service-dogs-to-be to walking senior pets towards the end of their lives, some with cancer or in end-of-life care. Each dog is an individual who means so much to me! I have administered medication, pottied puppies who need to get their energy out, walked big and small dogs, ranging from very calm and easy-going to anxious or even reactive. No pet is too much for me! I personally own a rescue who needs special care and attention, and understand the anxiety of putting your beloved friend into someone else's care. Every dog has quirks that I cater to. Having been around service dogs and dog-training for a majority of my life, I have real-life experience with how to read cues and body language, and how to keep a dog safe in any situation. It is my hope to make you feel the utmost comfortable and in control when finding someone to take care of your little one!

Camila did an amazing job watching our dog-reactive pup! He can be challenging to walk because he lunges/barks at other dogs, and Camila was a pro at managing him. She was very responsive during the stay and sent lots of updates/pictures. At the meet and greet, she made sure she understood all aspects of our dog's care. She also brought in our mail and was a responsible house guest during the stay. We would aboslutely recommend her to others looking for a dog sitter!
Camila is absolutely wonderful! She is a great communicator and very trustworthy. Our dogs were very happy when we got home and our home was in great shape! She went above and beyond and we are so grateful for her! We will definitely be choosing her whenever she is available! We are so glad we found her!
During an illness it was tough for me to turn my two beloved dogs over to somebody else, but Camila quickly proved how her calm, gentle and steady approach, her skillful handling of my twosome, with all their quirks, and her absolute reliability, were just what we needed. My buddies were always so happy to see her, and she treated them with affection. I knew I could count on her to show up on time and get them going, and rain or shine, they had the walk they needed. Camila is a terrific dog walker!
Camila is responsible and has a heart for animals. She has loved my pets like her own, followed my instructions to the letter, and provided a stress free experience for my pets when I am away. She is experienced with small and large dogs. I can trust her completely and therefore enjoy my time away from my furry friends!
