Pet care experience
Your pets new bff while you’re away
I love spending time with and taking care of my friends’ pets whenever possible! I’ve been trusted to cat sit (drop ins with Benji or Tiki for a couple of days at a time) and dog sit (cared for little Teddy at my apartment for two weeks while his parents were away) for my friend’s furry little ones on several occasions. While I love having fun with the animals in my care, I will always prioritize their safety when I am with them. In addition to loving my friends’ pets, I spent a year nannying for families with dogs whose care I was entrusted with. I looked after (picked up from day care, walked, and fed) two golden retrievers (Kody and Bella) as well as 8 month old Vizla puppy, Yofi! Spending time with them was the highlight of my days and I can’t wait to have a pup in my own home. I’m a student and available early mornings, evenings, and weekends! I also have time during the day to drop in on your pet or take them out for a walk!

I will always follow your rules/routines while your pet is in my care, whether it is in my own home or at yours. I will always treat your pet the way I would want mine to be treated. I will also communicate as frequently/infrequently as you’d like, I make it a habit to keep pet owners up to date with our activities!

Camila is absolutely incredible with Teddy. My mini goldendoodle can be a little anxious, but she went out of her way to make him (and us) feel comfortable! She sent so many photos, took him to the park, gave him treats, and he even came home with a new toy. We left Teddy with her for 10 days and felt such a huge relief knowing that he was being so well taken care of. Honestly, she’s set the bar so high that I don’t want anyone else watching him! Teddy loves spending time with her and that’s about the only review you need.
Camila ("Cami" as I know her) is--on top of being a dear friend whose most notable features are kindness, compassion and enthusiasm--a truly ardent lover and caretaker of dogs of all sizes. She has a natural intuition for understanding a dog's wants, needs, behaviors and all of the strange little idiosyncrasies we love about our companions. I can personally attest that my dog (4 year old black male pug named Hops), who is normally an absolute velcro dog, will rush to Cami and be more than content to place himself in her care. She's the only person that I've met who makes Hops excited to be walked and cared for by someone else besides his parents. It's just her knack; you can absolutely rest easy knowing your dog is with Cami in any capacity.
I have known Camila for almost 10 years now and have no worries about her caring for my dog Pawley! She is so great with Pawley, and Pawley misses her so much when she’s not here. Camila has always been very responsible and respectful during her time with Pawley and I wouldn’t hesitate to let Camila watch her!

Schedule
I’m a student full-time but I have some time before, between, and after classes every day! My weekends are pretty free, they just require a little bit of extra planning to make adequate time for your pet.
