I am an introvert so I don't go out much on nights or weekends. I currently have a hybrid work schedule and can be very flexible in scheduling walks or drop ins.

About Camila B.
Communication

Safety, trust & environment
Every pet is different and I always keep that in mind. I would not take a puppy on the same walk that I would take an adult Australian Shepard on, for example. If I know that I am checking in on a cat who is skittish/tends to hide from strangers, I would ask about favorite hiding places and make sure that I at least get a visual and ensure that the cat is safe before tending to its food, water, etc. I believe communication is key and I'd like to know as much as possible about your pet so that I can care for it the way I would my own dog.
Information Camila B. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know about any medications your dog is on, any behaviors that may seem normal to you but may stand out to a dog walker, habits, etc. I'd definitely like to know how your dog does with other dogs before going on a walk, as well as any triggers they may have. I have experience with reactive dogs so that doesn't concern me but it's definitely something I'd like to be prepared for.
A typical day
I like to provide dogs with time to do enrichment activities (sniffing, finding their treats, etc) and of course, walks. If your dog likes tug fetch, I'd love that! My own dog does not have any interest in toys. I love to walk by the lake but am happy to stay in your neighborhood or wherever you and your dog are most comfortable.

Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog and have been around pets all my life. As soon as I was able to, I got my own dog (he's a covid puppy). Because of all the downtime during the pandemic I threw myself into researching training methods, reading dog and cat body language and researching different breed traits, characteristics and their respective needs. Generally, I just feel like life is better when animals are around. My dog growing up was a Jack Russell Terrier and my own dog now is a Great Pyrenees. I have plenty of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. I also have experience with reactive dogs and animals with special needs (administering medication, injections, blindness, deafness, etc.) Although I've never had a cat of my own, I've pet sit for many cats in the past and one of my roommates had a cat that I loved very much. I am very comfortable around cats. As a dog owner who spends entirely too much time on her own dog, I completely understand how big a responsibility it is to care for someone's pet. I am more than happy to send as many pictures, videos and/or updates as you'd like during our time together.

Camila is always amazing with both our girls! She's super attentive and takes wonderful care of them whenever she visits.

I have booked Camila several times. She is great—always on time, super reliable, and really sweet with our yorkie! Camila makes everything easy and stress‑free. Highly recommend!

As always, Camila is THE most thoughtful and kind sitter for our two pups. She goes above and beyond every time and the girls are always excited to see her. Would recommend her 10x over.

Thank you for taking such great care of Ava!
