Had and loved cats all my life!
I have had cats in my family since the day I was born. Currently, there are five cats in my home and I help care for all of them! I make sure they are fed, have their water changed, and have their litter scooped every day. I have lots of experience with cats of all ages from 2-month-old kittens to 20-year-old seniors. I have been trusted to help take care of other people’s cats as well, and I hope you can trust me now to do the same! I am a college student, and so I am busy on weekdays during the school year, but during the summer, I am happy to do all weekdays and weekends during working hours (depending on my schedule with any other jobs) while you are on a trip that requires leaving your cats at home.

Safety, trust & environment
I am happy to meet your cats’ needs, whatever they may need. I prefer to free-feed because cats are notoriously difficult to keep on a schedule, but if your cat is trained to eat at a certain time, I will work with their schedule so long as it works well enough with mine. I am willing to change water and scoop litter either once or twice per day. Just give me instructions and tell me where everything is, please! I have experience with cats with a wide range of needs, and I know that some demand attention and play while others just want to be left alone. I am happy to play with your cats for a while if they want that, otherwise I can just check up on them and do the required cat chores. If you have both friendly and skittish cats, please tell me who’s who so that I know who to play with and pet and who to leave alone! I believe you can trust me to provide for your cats’ needs. However, if you have cats with special needs, or if you’re just worried about your furry friends while you’re away, we can keep in contact and I can send you cat pictures or whatever reassurance you may need.

Schedule
I am a college student studying Biology with a focus on research, so I can only do weekends 8am-4pm during the school year because I am very busy. However, during at least part of the summer, depending on other jobs, I can do any day of the week 8am-4pm so long as I know what my schedule looks like a few days in advance. I love caring for cats, and I am happy to come once or twice per day or stretch my hours a bit later depending on your feline friends’ schedules.
