Safety, trust, and a calm environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always make sure animals are in a secure, comfortable, and stress-free setting where they feel safe and cared for. I closely follow any instructions provided by owners and pay attention to each pet’s individual needs and routines. I treat every animal like they are my own children, with love, patience, and responsibility. I understand how much trust it takes to leave a pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility very seriously by making sure they are always safe, happy, and well cared for.

Before I watch someone’s pet, I think it’s really important to know their routines, like feeding times, walk schedule, and any rules they usually follow at home. I also like to know about their personality; if they’re shy, energetic, or have any triggers like being scared of other dogs or loud noises. It’s important to be aware of any medical needs, allergies, or medications, as well as how they do on walks (like if they pull or need a leash). I also ask what comforts them, like favorite toys, treats, or ways they like to be soothed, so I can make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home while their owner is away!
A typical day
I like to keep dogs happy, active, and comfortable by doing a mix of fun activities based on their needs. I take them on walks, play fetch, and do simple training games to keep them engaged. I also use toys and give them time to relax, cuddle, and feel safe. For older or calmer dogs, I focus more on gentle walks and companionship, making sure they feel loved and cared for the whole time.

I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and currently help care for my family’s Labrador Retriever and Chihuahua, so I’m experienced with both large and small breeds and different energy levels. I’ve also pet sat and watched multiple dogs for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, playing, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I truly love dogs and animals and enjoy spending time with them, whether that means going on walks, playing outside, or just giving them attention and companionship. I’m responsible, patient, and will always treat your pets like they’re part of my own family.
