I currently do not have much walk and visit availability weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and even outside those times might not be available if I have too many walks and a sitting that day already. Also I ask for 20% tips to cover the 20% Rover takes. I am a Colorado native who grew up in Colorado Springs. I have been watching and training pets since I was a kid, and for the last seven years I've done it professionally full-time with the help of Rover and pet-lovers like you! Additional Services: Bath & Brush - $40 Matting removal/extra care - $20 (30min) Shave fur - $20 (free scissor cuts, I need practice) Nail Trim & Grind - $15 Brush Teeth - $10 Additional 30 min Exercise - $10 per day (30 min included) Max time away from home 4 hours - $30 per day (normally 8 hours total, 4 at a time max) I also do housekeeping and poop removal for poop not left during my stay. Quotes available upon request. Basic Safety and Obedience Training - $40 per hour session. We start doing the training at your home so the dog is comfortable and less distracted. We train not only the dog but you as well. The first mistake many make is trying to teach tricks before building communication. By teaching foundational commands first, you make the rest of your training journey much easier. These are the most important for helping your dog learn how to behave even when excited or around company, and instill safe habits like not running out of the front door or taking human food. Dog Walk and Visit 2-Hour Arrival Window - Because some of my work is on demand or short notice I generally need a 2-hour arrival window. So if you put 12pm I'll read that as 11am-1pm. Sitting Refund Policy: No refund for nights cancelled within 5 days of the start, 50% refund for nights cancelled 6-10 nights from the start. Given that I do this full-time and since sitting is a substantial part of my income, I have to protect myself from people making "possible plans" and trying to cancel the week before and paying nothing which unfortunately happen often. There's almost no way I'll book nights with that little notice so this is what I have to do. I have to enforce this policy on my own and my only recourse is to not rebook with owners that don't follow it. If you do have to pay a cancellation fee we have to do it privately with Venmo, cash or check as Rover does not have the ability to do standalone payments. This, and when wanting to add a tip amount above what Rover allows, are the only exceptions to Rover's cash-app rules. I require AC in the bedroom I'm sleeping in. Homes with long driveways are required to have a snowblower.
