I treat my own cat like my child. She has health insurance, plenty of toys and stimulation, high quality food and lots of cuddles (when she permits it). I would treat anybody else's pet like I would their child, since I know how important companionship is to us all.

Schedule
Working remote full-time gives me plenty of time to work at my own pace, and to tend to pet duties between whatever dull meetings I have that day.
