I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with a wide variety of pets and personalities. From walking an elderly neighbor’s dog to providing daily drop-in visits for pets while families were away, I’ve always enjoyed helping owners know their animals are in good hands. I currently own a cat and a snake and have previously cared for dart frogs and raised butterflies. Over the years, I’ve also cared for dogs, birds, chickens, horses, reptiles, and other small animals. I understand that every pet has unique needs, routines, and comfort levels, and I always strive to provide patient, attentive care that helps them feel safe and comfortable. Before attending culinary school, I volunteered for seven months at North Valley Animal Shelter, where I walked dogs of various breeds and participated in enrichment activities for cats. That experience strengthened my confidence working with animals of different temperaments and reinforced the importance of positive, compassionate care. Today, I work full-time at a children’s hospital and am currently pursuing certification as a dog trainer to continue expanding my knowledge of animal behavior and handling.
