Safety, trust & environment

Your dog's wellbeing is my top priority. I'm dog first-aid trained, having completed a fully-certified vet-taught dog first aid course in April 2024. I prefer house-sitting, as I believe your dog will be more content in their familiar environment, reducing their potential stress and anxiety while you're away. I always try to arrange a pre-meet with you and your dog (ideally in your home) so that you feel more comfortable and your dog is familiar with me before the booking. I also send regular "pupdates" to keep you informed about what your dog has been up to!

Information Cam G. would like to know about your pet

To ensure the best-possible care for your dog, I'll ask the following questions in advance: Bathroom schedule, feeding schedule, how long they're comfortable being left alone, on/off lead walks, recall abilities, any triggers/anxieties, favourite treats and activities.

A typical day

During house-sitting, your dog will be well fed and entertained as per your requirements. I make sure to include play time into my work schedule, and ensure your dog gets some fresh air during my lunch break, making their day enjoyable and fulfilling. Your dog's happiness and comfort are guaranteed under my care.

Pet care experience

Growing up surrounded by a variety of dogs, including a labrador, a poodle and a collie-alsatian cross, has made me a huge dog lover and I always want to be around dogs! While I currently don't have a dog of my own, friends and family consistently trust me to provide care for their pups, entrusing me with walking, feeding and overall companionship. Feel free to get in touch, and let's make sure your dog's tail is wagging with joy! 🐕

Excellent! Cam had sole charge of our two big dogs, we received photos everyday of their activities & walks. Great to have seen them cuddled up with Cam at various times. The house was left spotlessly clean & tidy, Cam had also stripped his bed and put a wash on 👏. Can’t recommend enough, we’ll definitely book Cam again.

Boba really took to Cam as soon as he met him. He looked after him brilliantly including making sure he gave him his treatment and looked after his sore paw. The house was super tidy when we got home too. Thanks Cam!

Cam looked after our pointer for the weekend. He took him on some lovely walks and looked after him well. We are back to a clean house and a calm relaxed dog! Thank you for covering our dog free weekend escape. Highly recommend Cam

Cam was brilliant with our pair of rascals, he sent regular updates and photos and the house was immaculate on our return. We would definitely recommend Cam and would use him again as our girls were so relaxed and happy when we returned from a week’s holiday.
