I have a large fenced garden that is secure. No escapees on my watch! When your dog stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. Dogs have full access to my home and are welcome on the sofa (unless you prefer otherwise!). I stick closely to your dog’s usual routine to ensure they feel secure and settled. Walks are a big part of our day – I live in a beautiful part of Bournemouth with access to parks, woodlands, and coastal paths/beaches, so there’s no shortage of exciting places to explore. My own dog, Obi (a friendly German Pointer), is great with other dogs and loves the company. I’m happy to cater to any special needs – whether it’s administering medication, feeding a special diet, or giving extra cuddles to nervous pups.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirements and we will do our very best to cater for all furry friends! Please ensure your dog has an identification tag with your contact details prior to their stay. Please provide info on; General behaviour, dominance, submission, resource guarding? Recall? I wouldn’t allow your dog to be off lead without your permission, but confidence is also needed on their level of training and intelligence to return.
A typical day
Several walks. Good food and treats (if allowed) and lots of fun. We go on varied walks in the local area whether it be the forest, fields or beach. We try to involve rabbits and squirrels!

Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I've had dogs all my life and truly understand how important it is to find someone you trust to look after your furry family member. I currently live with my friendly and sociable German Pointer, Obi, who absolutely loves the company of other dogs. Together, we enjoy regular long walks (or short, depending on need) and plenty of playtime. We're lucky to live in a beautiful part of Bournemouth, surrounded by dog-friendly parks, coastal paths, and woodland trails—perfect for keeping dogs happy, active, and well-stimulated. Whether your dog enjoys long adventurous walks or just cuddles and companionship at home, I can cater to their needs and routines. I provide a safe, loving, and calm environment where your dog will feel right at home. You can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pup is in caring, experienced hands. We’re looking forward to meeting your 4 legged friend!

This was Izzy's first stay with Calvin and Pointer Obi. She has not been left with a sitter for a couple of years and I was worried. Calvin was reassuring and sent photos during the day. It was clear she was settled and happy when I picked her up. Calvin has replied to all messages quickly and it is clear he loves dogs. We have already booked Izzy in for a weekend stay and will use him for holidays in the future.
Calvin has been so lovely and communicative and Yuzu seemed super happy with him. Would definitely work with him again
