This allows me to dedicate the time and attention necessary to ensure pets feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or any special needs, I can accommodate various schedules and stay consistent with a pet’s routine. My focus is on providing reliable and personalized care to meet both pets’ and their owners’ needs.

A typical day
When I watch pets, I prioritize giving them my full attention and ensuring they have fun while staying active. I love engaging in interactive play, whether it’s a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or exploring their favorite toys. For dogs, I enjoy taking them on walks through fields or spacious areas where they can sniff, explore, and get plenty of exercise. I’m fully present during our time together—I’m never on my phone unless it’s to handle work or accept an important call. My focus is always on the pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being, making sure they feel loved and cared for every step of the way.

* Dog experience ranging from Yorkshire Terriers to Great Danes & Irish Wolfhounds * I have worked with dogs for the better part of 15+ years, training, taking care of, and rescuing them. * Cat experience, they have taken care of me for the better part of 10+ years. * Some small farm experience, cow/duck/chicken & willing to learn more about equine * I currently own a Great Dane & Irish Wolfhound and take them to dog parks for socialization. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me in the past to care for their animals on weekend trips or to housesit for extended vacations.

Calvin did an excellent job caring for my 2 dogs while I was away for 6 days. I was not worried about them at all while I was gone. I will definitely ask Calvin to stay with Odin & Gwynnie again
Calvin joined our family about a month ago- my dog Charlie, as well as son Sidney, and I have all grown accustomed to and enthusiastically welcome Calvin's presence in our home. Charlie looks delighted every time Calvin comes over, and the pics he sends to me of he and Charlie playing brings a smile to my face knowing that even though I can't be there myself all of the time to play, I find comfort knowing that Charlie has grown to love Calvin in my absence. And...the fact that Calvin served in the US Army is an additional bonus, as I know he understands the importance of responsibility as well as accountability.
Calvin was amazing with our high energy pups! They loved him and we look forward to having him as a guest and sitter in our home again!
