Pet care experience
Work from home lover of all dogs!
I have been raised with and owned dogs my entire life. I love all dogs, big and small, young and old. I am the go to person when my parents, brothers, cousins and friends need a sitter. I have one very friendly, well-trained, and playful dog so your pet always has someone to play with. We enjoy long daily walks in the morning and at night, but our favorite part of the day is going to the park over lunch to play fetch. I have experience with multiple older dogs who are on med schedules and have no problem administering medications, if needed.

Ratings and reviews
Calvin took great care of my Bernedoodle puppy! He kept me updated with peace-of-mind messages throughout the day, which I appreciated so much. His dog, Chester, was also incredibly good-natured and gentle when playing with my puppy. It’s such a relief to find a safe, welcoming environment for socialization. I highly recommend Calvin and will definitely be back!

Calvin was awesome! Super responsive and took great care of our dachshund puppy. Their dog Chester was really great with Margot as well and was very gentle with her. Thanks Cal!

Had a great experience with Calvin and Kate and would use again!
Calvin has taken care of our spirited Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier, Millie, many times. Calvin has great patience with a balance of ensuring the dog behaves and is safe. We have four dogs in our family/friend group and Calvin's dog, Chester, is the best trained. He loves to get the dogs out to walk or to the park at least twice a day and enjoys that time as much as they do. Chester loves all dogs and enjoys the opportunity to have a friend joining them. Calvin is affectionate and when he comes to see Millie, she is very excited and to see him (and of course Chester) and gets her "love" from him. Recently we were on a vacation and Calvin contacted us to let us know Millie was not feeling well and clearly explained her behavior and his concerns. Millie had transitioned from another caregiver to Calvin. She had eaten something while with the other caregiver that made her sick. As a result, Calivn took her in and it was a good thing he did. She was very dehydrated and sick. I had no doubt she was in good care and Calvin made sure she got her meds and made her the browned ground turkey and rice she needed to ensure she was getting nutrition and drinking water some of being hand-given. Calvin has a genuine love of all dogs and it shows in his interaction with his dog and all of our family/friend dogs.
Calvin has dog sat for me on numerous occasions. I don't have the easiest dog since my dear Finnegan is a energetic 2 year old, but Cal always treats him with love and patience. Cal is a avid fan of the outdoors so rest assured your dog will get proper exercise and probably be taken to a park or a cool hike! 10 out of 10 would recommend

Schedule
My wife and I both work from home full time so your pet will rarely be left home alone, and our schedule is very flexible. We have one friendly, well-trained, medium size dog that loves to play so your pet will always have a friend. We take our dog on a minimum of twos walks, one in the morning and one at night, and go to the park over lunch every day it isn’t down pouring. (Chester does not like the rain).

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced in yard for the dogs to play in, with a doggy door they have access to when the weather is nice. Also have lots of toys around the house for the dogs to play with. Chester is crate trained, but we do not use the crate anymore because he is happier laying on the couch or his bed and doesn’t have any destructive tendencies. But we are very comfortable keeping your dog(s) in the crate, and can put Chester in the crate too if it’s easier for all when we are away. We allow our dogs on the furniture and have a massive sectional - plenty of room for all. We also have a walk in shower which we use to bath the dogs if needed, or to clean off any mud from a walk or trip to the park.

A typical day
A tired dog is a happy dog. Our typically day includes a morning walk, breakfast, and trip to the park to play fetch over lunch, an evening dinner, and a long walk before bed, with plenty of play and nap time in between. We love to stimulate our dog with puzzles, lick mats, and various toys and bones.
