I’ve grown up around animals my whole life. Our family dogs included a Retriever (rescue), Chocolate Lab, Blue Staffy and Staffy-cross (rescue). I’ve also cared for a Pomeranian from puppyhood, living with and looking after them almost full-time, as well as a Sheepadoodle I regularly care for. I’ve lived with domestic, Burmese and Persian cats from kittens through to their senior years, and have also cared for a roaming cat who bought kittens to our door. I’m comfortable with animals who have different personalities, quirks or behavioural needs, including rescue pets who have experienced mistreatment. I have a naturally calm and gentle disposition that animals tend to respond well to, while being firm and consistent when needed.

Pet-sitting is about more than feeding an animal and taking them for a walk; you’re trusting me with a member of your family and your home. I’m calm, responsible, reliable and attentive, and I’ll make sure your pet’s routine, safety and comfort are always the priority.
Ratings and reviews
Calum has looked after our dog and house on several occasions, including an extended 3 week stay over Christmas. We have always felt completely comfortable leaving him in charge of both our dog and our home. He is reliable, responsible and our dog loves him. He has also been respectful of our home and kept everything clean and tidy. Communication has always been easy, and we have been able to enjoy our holidays knowing that our dog is happy and well cared for. I would have no hesitation recommending Calum to anyone looking for a trustworthy and conscientious dogsitter (except that it may mean its harder for me to book the dates I want!). He has become someone we are very comfortable relying on, and we would happily have him look after our dog again.
We've had Calum look after our three dogs on many occasions, and we couldn't be happier with the care he provided. Our Staffy, Pitbull-cross, and Fox Terrier are all energetic dogs with their own quirks, but he handled them with patience, confidence, and genuine care. His calm nature was a great influence on them, and it was obvious they enjoyed spending time with him. He was always reliable, respectful of our home, and very thorough when it came to following instructions and keeping us updated. We returned home each time to happy, settled dogs and had complete peace of mind while we were away. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter.

Schedule
I work remotely as a freelancer, meaning I’m around throughout the day to give pets plenty of attention and company. I’m an active person who enjoys walking, running, and exploring, so there’s usually plenty of opportunity for exercise and stimulation, as well as chill time at home.
