A typical day
Depending on your pets energy level, I’m open to walks, playing fetch outside, or just resting in the sun! I also love getting cats stoked with laser lights and yummy little treats.

Hi there! My name is Callyn. I’m new to Rover, but have been caring for pets for quite sometime now! Originally, my pet sitting started as nannying for little humans. This naturally trickled into me caring for their pets too! I’ve now found myself here to expand my services to the greater Chicagoland. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of pets, including animals with specialized medical and behavioral needs. My experience includes providing daily care and monitoring for cats with diabetes, such as administering medications, tracking dietary requirements, and recognizing changes in health or behavior. In addition to medical care, I am experienced in working with dogs of different temperaments, including those who may be shy, anxious, reactive, or strong-willed. I focus on building trust through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement techniques. I have also trained dogs in foundational obedience skills, including sit, stay, heel, paw, and proper leash-walking manners.

I found callyn on the insistence of a friend. As the owner of a senior dog I was apprehensive about leaving home for an extended time but a family emergency forced my hand and in a pinch I was sent Callyn's info with the promise that the care she provides will be as close as one can get to being there myself. She fulfilled this promise. Professional, prompt and detail oriented in ways I wasn't even aware one could be. Cannot recommend her enough.
I had Callyn watch my cat, Mr. REAL, on and off for a two month period. Couldn't be happier with her service! Mr. REAL was promptly fed, played with, and was treated as if he was apart of Callyns family, WITH REAL HONEST AND GENUINE CARE! Would definitely have her watch him again!

Callyn is the best! My lil puppy girl, Canela, absolutely LOVES her!! I travel a lot for work, occasionally having to be gone for several days at a time. My puppy has been known to be a little anxious, but i can always travel and rest easy knowing Canela is in great hands. Also very helpful that Callyn is familiar with my area and can do Canela's regular walk routes since she can get overwhelmed in new areas. 5 stars to Callyn! Best puppy caregiver around!!
