I’ve been friends with Annabel since school, and over the years we’ve spent loads of time with our dogs together, whether that’s going out for walks or just having them around. She’s looked after my cockapoo on a few occasions, including taking him for walks and staying at my house to look after him, and I’ve always felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. She’s someone who genuinely loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them, and I know Callum feels the same way. I’ve known Callum for quite a while now, and we’ve been on a few walks together with my dog and also our friends’ dogs in London. They’re both based in Balham now, so I know there’s loads of great parks and places nearby they’re looking to walk dogs they meet on Rover. They’ve always said how much they miss having a dog around since moving to London too. They’re both really keen to spend more time with dogs again, and I think their experience, love of dogs and the fact that they genuinely enjoy having them around would make them a great fit for Rover.

As Callum’s mum, I’ve seen first-hand how much experience he has with dogs from growing up with Staffies. He’s always been very comfortable around dogs, including energetic or more challenging ones, and has been trusted to walk and look after our dogs independently for years. He’s regularly been left at home with them and is responsible for making sure they are walked, fed and cared for properly. He’s patient and confident with dogs and has always treated them as part of the family. I’ve also known Annabel for years and she’s always been very comfortable around our dog Billy. Whenever she comes to stay, she happily helps look after him and regularly goes on walks with Billy and Callum. They’re the type of people who will never hesitate to include him in their plans, whether that’s taking him out for a walk or even bringing him along to the pub, so he gets plenty of attention and isn’t just left on his own. Having seen them together with dogs, I know they’re both caring, responsible and trustworthy, and I think their experience and genuine love of dogs would make them a great fit for Rover.

I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and have always been around them with my sister, including our Cockapoo Winnie, who we sadly lost this year. Over the years, we’ve also looked after lots of friends’ and family’s dogs like terriers, labradors and whippets. Annabel’s very comfortable taking responsibility for a dog and making sure they get the attention, exercise and care they need. I’ve also known Callum for years and have seen him around Winnie and Billy, his family’s dog, who we’ve all walked and looked after together many times. Looking after dogs has always just been a normal part of life for us, and we genuinely enjoy it. I know Callum and Annabel are huge dog lovers and really miss having them around since moving to London. They’re definitely both comfortable around all sorts of dogs and would never treat looking after someone’s pet as just a quick job. They’re happy to spend time with them, take them on walks and include them in their day - I’m hoping to get some photos of their new canine adventures too. I think they’d be a great fit for Rover and I’d have no hesitation trusting them with a dog.
