Before caring for a pet, it’s really important to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any dietary restrictions or allergies. I also like to understand their temperament, energy level, and how they behave around new people or other animals. Medical needs are super important too—like medications, vet contact info, and any past health issues. It’s helpful to know their favorite activities, fears (like loud noises), and any training or behavioral quirks so I can keep them comfortable, safe, and happy the whole time.
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love keeping them active and happy with fun, engaging activities! We’ll go on walks, play fetch, and have lots of cuddles. If they’re energetic, we can run around outside or play tug-of-war. For calmer pets, I’ll spend time brushing them, relaxing together, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained the entire time.

I started professionally pet-sitting 5 years ago; I would take pets on walks, feed them, give baths if needed, change litter boxes, and of course give them love!
