I always do a meet&greet with clients before caring for their pets, to make sure I go over everything with the owner to make sure their pets are as safe as they can be, to make sure I stick to routines and what they are used to, so I have full understanding what they can and can’t do. I also have a terms&conditions that I get the client to read through so there is good communication between me and the client. I also send Daily updates of the pet to the owner.
