I have worked as a nurse for 10 years and have struggled to find trustworthy individuals to let my dogs out with my irregular schedule. I joined rover to help other people working odd hours have care for their pets. Since I have worked both day and night shift, I understand the need for animal care at non-traditional hours. I have also been a travel nurse and know the stress of moving to a new city and finding care. I am available on weekends, most holidays, and days before 2pm. I am occasionally available Monday and Friday evenings as well.

A typical day
I will ensure your dogs have ample time to take their potty break and will spend any remaining time playing fetch, tug of war, and providing cuddles -- whatever you prefer! I do not take dogs to shared pet parks due to the risk posed by other people's pets (my own dog was attacked at a park while on a walk with another individual).

I grew up with dogs and cats on the farm and own two dogs of my own. I have had each of them since they were puppies and they are now 7 and 8 years old. One of my dogs is reactive to other dogs so I understand some animals need a little extra time, love, and support to feel comfortable. I also foster kittens through a local organization.

Callie has cared for my 9-year-old chihuahua many times over the past five years! Everything from daily walks to full overnight stays. I trust her completely. She is incredibly caring, gentle, dependable, and has such a fun personality that my dog absolutely lights up whenever she arrives. Callie takes the time to understand each pet’s needs (esp being a dog owner herself!), and she has also helped with medication administration and more complicated care tasks, which gives me total peace of mind. It is obvious how much she loves animals, and she treats my dog like her own family. I can’t recommend her enough!!
