Services
Callie can care for
Availability
I am currently pet sitting and dog walking full time, so I have plenty of availability throughout the week for your pets. I keep my schedule as updated as possible for days that I am unavailable. If you ever have any questions, just reach out and I can tell you if certain dates will work or not. *For January 2026-July 2026* During this time, I will be attending a local professional dog training program to become a better pet caregiver and expand my services! Because of this, I will be unavailable for sits, drop-ins, and walks throughout the week (Monday-Friday). I will be available for these services on the weekends only. Thank you for your understanding!

Safety, trust & environment
Because of my prior pet care experience, I understand how important safety can be especially when accessing your home. I take following your specific instructions very seriously and am especially careful to avoid possible escape scenarios for flight risk animals. Because animals can be unpredictable sometimes, I also take great caution when on walks to ensure the dog and everyone around is safe as well!
Information Callie L. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, behavioral issues, or quirks so that I can provide the best possible experience for your pup! For example: does your dog like to eat things off the ground on walks, is your dog shy or skittish around new people, does your dog have any medical issues like arthritis or diabetes, does your dog react negatively towards other dogs, cats, small animals, humans, or children?
A typical day
For younger dogs, I love playing games and will gladly toss a ball around or stimulate them mentally with toys. As someone who likes to stay active, I’m no stranger to running or walking for long periods of time, so I would love to do that with your energetic pup! For older dogs, I’m all for the belly rubs, gentle scratches, and cuddles on the couch. On walks, I don’t mind slowing down, letting them sniff all the smells along the way, and going at their own pace.

Pet care experience
Ever since I was little, I’ve loved caring for animals! For much of my childhood and adolescence, I helped foster homeless dogs and cats for a local ASPCA chapter where I grew up in eastern Kentucky. I definitely have a passion for rescue animals because even to this day I take in stray dogs or cats when the opportunity arises and try to find better placement situations for them. As far as professional animal care experience goes, I worked for PetSmart in the grooming salon as a dog bather before going to college here in St. Louis. While in school, I worked for local dog walking businesses, volunteered for animal rescue organizations, and have offered services through Rover for 3+ years now! Since graduating in December of 2024, I am pet sitting/dog walking full-time and hope to eventually work toward becoming a dog trainer. I also have a rescue pup of my own, Honey! She is my absolute world and caring for her brings me so much joy. Because of my love for hiking, trail running, and backpacking, you can find me hitting up local trails or parks with Honey or other dogs frequently. *If you would like me to take your pup to local parks and trails for hikes or runs, let me know! (For dog walks only, an increased price would apply)* With my experience in pet care, I will gladly bathe, brush, or clip/grind your dog's nails. I am also not afraid to clean up any messes, administer medications or injections, or help out with any other unique situations that may come up with young/senior dogs in particular. Also, my dog Honey is reactive, so I understand how important it is to read a dog’s body language and be able to handle their different temperaments/behavioral issues at certain times when on walks or during interactions with them. *For other pets* While I mainly provide care for cats and dogs, I do have experience being around other types of animals. Over the years, I have looked after birds and farm animals like pigs and goats. I am also open to taking care of horses, cows, any reptiles/amphibians, or fish as well. Just let me know what your needs are and I am willing to help out in any way that I can! I look forward to meeting your pup(s)!

I have gotten the pleasure of working with Callie several times. She is reliable, takes incredible care of my dogs, and puts thorough updates in for every visit. I have had bad experiences with other Rover sitters, but cannot say enough good things about Callie I love her and so do my dogs, thanks so much, Callie!

Great communication, timely visits, and a well-cared for kitty!!
