[ ABOUT ME ] Dogs, cats, & horses are just a few of the animals I cater to on a day to day basis. Previously a Dog Daycare Attendant, Assistant K9 Trainer, & then a Dog/Cat Associate Groomer, I have a 13 year resume full of strictly animal related jobs. At one point I was managing my barn with 35 horses, so I am no stranger to loving and caring for animals big and small. Animals are my passion and I could not imagine my life without them. I would love to help make your day to day life or special getaway as stress-free as PAWsible! I have plenty of extra dog bowls, beds, blankets, toys, leashes, dog waste bags, & first aid supplies, all sanitized & ready for your pet(s)! This is not just another job to me, it’s a home away from your home. This is my full-time job so it makes working with the dogs very easy, and it means lots of walks, play-time, attention, & love. Also plenty of pictures & updates for you! I have an 8 ft/10 ft privacy fence with a large yard (only remains open if I am home so I can supervise). I am home a majority of the time, so all of my time and energy can be devoted to caring for your pets. I will do everything I can to keep everyone happy, healthy, & safe. [MY HOME] 🏡 When your dog comes to board with me, they are truly taken care of like they are my own. That means where I go, they can go. If they require their own room, a safe space, or if they like their crate, there are 5 bedrooms that can be used to accommodate these needs. With couches, carpeted common rooms, lots of dog beds, and blankets, there’s an endless amount of ways to keep your dog comfortable. I have baby gates in all of my doorways to ensure safe ways to give dogs even more space, or leave them open. I currently have one neutered Jack Russell terrier who is 2 years old (Max) and he is the perfect companion for all dogs. He has been around 12 week old puppies and 15 year old seniors. Proper and SAFE introductions will be made with my dog while he is leashed and out in my fenced, dog-proof yard on neutral territory. Max has never met a dog (or person) that he doesn’t instantly fall in love with and try to leave with, but he respects personal space when a dog’s body language enforces it. My home is set up with the dogs in mind, pictures of the interior are available to all who ask and you’re also able to come in to my home for meet & greets. [SIZES & BREEDS] I have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I can make sure all of your pet's personal needs are met during their stay. I do not mix different sized dogs unless an owner has requested this or the dogs came together from the same family. Play time is safer this way, and it keeps the small breeds from becoming overwhelmed and/or injured. *** If you have a male dog over the age of 1 years old that is not neutered, they will be charged as my puppy rate. Unaltered dogs require more time out pottying so that they won’t mark inside my home where they try to establish their scent. [MEDICATIONS & SPECIAL NEEDS] I have experience with administering oral medications to many pets. Injected medications can often be given, such as insulin. I am also familiar and experienced with incontinence. It is very important to give me detailed instructions on your pet's medical needs so that I can make sure to keep them on their schedule. [PUPPIES & POTTY TRAINING] I am very comfortable with caring for puppies (only weeks old). I have had extensive experience with potty training and basic commands, fostering just puppies for several years. [DAILY UPDATES] I make sure to send daily updates of your pet via pictures and videos on the Rover app. I send at least a couple of updates a day but you can always ask for more! [MY GUARANTEE] Kisses, hugs, and treats are always free here! I treat every pet as if they were my fur baby. Being this is my full-time job, my top priority is making sure you and your pets are comfortable, happy, healthy, and well cared for.
