My family moved into our Spring Lake/Ferrysburg home Sept 2025 from South Grand Rapids, we’re super exited to have a larger yard! We have a 8 year old child with us on weekends who enjoys pets very much, usually the dogs end up cuddling with him all weekend! My personal pets are pretty low maintenance (cats and a small snake that stays in its cage) so I have plenty of time to spend at your home as well if that is what you prefer.

We have a good size fully fenced in yard great for exercise! Its very typical for everyone in the family to be outside working of projects and playing with the dogs at all times if the year. They will get plenty of cuddles and attention since we are home most of the time!

New to the Spring Lake / Ferrysburg / Grand Haven area (as of Sept 2025)! Hi, I’m Callie! My family and I recently moved to the area from Grand Rapids where I have been providing pet care for a number of years. Since 2022 I have been working remotely for a pet care software company and being home full-time made me realize how much I’d love to spend my days with more animal companions! I have extensive experience with a variety of pets. My background includes working as an exotic animal caregiver and trainer, a wildlife rehabilitator, and a veterinary assistant. I’ve shared my life with dogs, cats, reptiles, and birds, and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I’m comfortable with training, enrichment activities, and providing specialized care for elderly or special-needs pets. Thanks to my professional experience, I’m also skilled at noticing the small but important details that help keep pets happy and healthy. I’d love the chance to care for your furry, feathered, or scaled family member and treat them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s)!

Callie made us feel at ease all day while Honey was with her. Our sweet 4-month old German shepherd puppy is rambunctious to say the least and we might have worried with other carers but felt confident in Callie’s abilities before we even met due to her excellent communication and friendly demeanor. During the day of Honey’s visit we received photo and text updates and it was obvious that our good girl was having a fantastic time with her new friends exploring and learning (cats! snake! new yard! new people! 🐾🤯🥰) When I picked Honey up last night she was a sleepy and happy pup, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Callie is highly recommended by Honey and her humans! 🐾💕
Once again Ellie has a great stay with Callie! Love the pictures throughout and that she gets so much love and attention when she’s there.
Callie was amazing with my Great Pyrenees puppy! I was so nervous because he can be a handful but she did awesome and he came home tuckered out every night after playing with her. 10/10 would recommend.
Callie did a wonderful job taking care of our 2 doggies! She was responsive, attentive to their needs, friendly, and clearly very good with animals. We felt comfortable boarding at Callie’s home and appreciated her being flexible with the time. We will definitely reach out again and highly recommend!
