My husband and I both work from home, so there will almost always be one of us home with your pet. During the day, our pet friends usually "work with us" around the house, and we take frequent breaks to go outside to stretch and get some fresh air, and we like to get in a lot of outside time in the evenings. When we have time to relax, we love to spend it with our furry friends!

When I am with your pet, I treat them just like my own babies. In my home, they will become part of the pack - cuddling, playing, lounging around, going on walks, getting attention, etc right alongside my own pets. I allow pets access to all areas of my home, including on furniture and sleeping on my bed. Outside, I have a fenced in yard that provides a safe space for your dog to run and play.

I would love to have a (free) meet and greet with you and your pet! You and your pet can come to my home and we can introduce our pets to each other and get to know each other to make sure that we are all comfortable with each other. I want your pet to feel like a part of my family, and I want you to feel secure knowing where your baby will be staying while you are away! During this time, you can tell me all about your pet's routine, such as feeding instructions, preferences, quirks, and personality!
A typical day
I work from home and usually my pets/our guests like to "work with me" by sitting in my office with me or playing with toys as I work. I like to take frequent breaks outside to get fresh air and some exercise, so we may take a walk on the walking trail in my town, walk around the neighborhood and say hi to our friendly neighbors and all their pets, or just hang out in the fenced in yard playing. I have a box of indoor chew toys and also keep special toys outside, such as ropes, balls, and bones. In the summer, I bring out the doggie pool and sometimes bring out the hose if the dogs enjoy playing in water.

I have been taking care of animals since I was a child! Animals are truly my passion - I have 10 rescue pets of my own and countless "nieces and nephews" I take care of for family and friends. When it comes to animals, I've never met a stranger. I'm the kind of person who stops in the middle of the road to help a lost turtle cross and stops to pet every dog I pass out for a walk. I can't wait to make friends with your dog or cat! I am available to visit your pets in your home or take your dogs on a walk in the late afternoons/evenings and on weekends and most holidays. I would love to come and care for your furry friends at your home! I will treat your pet just like my own furbabies - which means tons of affection and petting, outdoor playing such as fetch and chase, indoor playing with toys, cuddling up on the couch together, and of course making sure there's plenty of food and water - with a few treats sprinkled in :)

My two pups stayed five nights with Calli, their longest stay away from home, and they were so comfortable and loved. Calli always provides a warm environment and sends updates to let me know how the day went. So much appreciation for how well she treats my girls and the attention she gives them!
