When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I provide fresh food and water, administer medications if needed, clean litter boxes or pick up waste, and ensure pets get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention.

I also like to know about their personality, behavior around other people and animals, favorite activities, and any triggers or fears they may have.
A typical day
Some of my favorite activities include going on walks, playing fetch, exploring new trails, practicing basic training skills, playing with toys, and providing plenty of one-on-one attention. I also enjoy puzzle toys and enrichment activities that help keep dogs mentally stimulated.

I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses through both personal ownership and my work in veterinary medicine. I am a veterinary assistant and am enrolled in a veterinary technician program, giving me experience with animal behavior, health monitoring, medication administration, and handling pets of all ages and temperaments. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and dependable to care for your pets. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, or providing extra attention and comfort while you’re away, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My veterinary background allows me to recognize signs of illness or discomfort and provide an extra level of care and peace of mind for pet owners.

Calli has taken care of our dogs on multiple occasions. She has stayed over night, popped in to let them out and feed them, and she has been a reliable helper for us. Sometimes we are gone all day, and calli will go let our dogs out and let them play outside for an hour. Whether we’re gone for the am or the week I never have to stress about them. I know they are getting the same quality of care as they would if I was there with them. She is dependable, gives quality care, and truly cares about your pets. We just love her, and our dogs love her!
