Availability
My goal is flexibility! Any day of the week, morning and night, I'm available. My work day starts late enough in the day for most if not all morning activities and I'm off perfectly on time for afternoon walkies.

Safety, trust & environment
I've house sat for dozens of times. In my 10+ years of connection with 4-H, I've watched many members pets over the years. This included more unique animals like reptiles and birds all the way to a guinea pig barn. My goal is to keep everything as in routine as possible. Pets are already anxious when their parents leave so doing everything just like you do helps minimize any added stress. No such thing as too much information!
Information Callen B. would like to know about your pet
I've never house sat for someone and thought, "Man, that's just too much helpful information"! To be specific, the medial requirements are my top priority. If I have any questions, I want to get them address as soon as possible. Feeding habits and favorite toys. Beloved places to walk and which rude dog gives them the stink eye through the fence. I also want to know about your dogs other house sitting history. Is this their first time away from you? Have they been to boarding facilities? Do they have personality quirks that make them unique? I want to hear all about it.
A typical day
Between trips to the local dog park or just a walk around the block, finding exciting ways to mentally and physically enrich your dogs day really help them handle the stress of their favorite humans not being home. My personal favs are forage toys, Your Choice practice, the "Find It" game and long romantic walks in the beach.

Pet Care Like You're Still There!
Pet care experience
My experience with dog covers just about all fields there are. I spent 10+ years showing herding breeds in showmanship and obedience, often at the state level. This included all the required grooming and handling skills that comes with performing at a pro level. I also trained lessons at 4-H clubs once a week for 5 years. I helped teach kids how to teach their dogs and during that time I worked with dogs big and small. Fear aggressive and wild lab puppies. I continued my training at a local boarding facility where Ive been exposed to even more unique dogs. This facility specialized in dogs that needed special care or more technical help than regular boarding places could provide. Food aggressive malinois, elderly pitbulls that have specific medical needs and anxious poodles are all just a regular Tuesday for me. I'm always looking for a new experiences and a challenge!
Reviews

Callen took great care of my nervous little dog. They provided regular updates and photos. They were receptive to feedback on how to possibly lessen Violet's anxiety. Would definitely book Callen again!

I am so grateful for Callen! I have a newly adopted dog that is going through a lot of anxiety and fear, including new people coming into the home. Callen was knowledgeable about his behaviors and identifying what he was feeling, and patient with him despite all of his uncertainties. I'd be happy to have her back.

Callen was super with my pets. She is very knowledgeable about pet food and breeds. She also is very good about doing what she says she will do. Will be using her services again.
I truly have never had a better dogsitter than Callen! I've always been nervous with having folks care for our dog due to his bite history and extremely anxious nature. However, immediately, I knew they would be the perfect fit for dogsitting for us. Callen did an amazing job over the week they stayed with our dog, ensuring he had his daily medications, walks, and a calm presence. We received daily updates from them on how he was doing, which helped keep me calm and reassured me that everything was going well. They were super communicative before, during, and after dogsitting for us and very responsive to any and all questions we had! I would recommend them to anyone who has a reactive dog!
