I do not bring pets into my home due to living in an apartment. When I care for pets in their homes, I prefer to meet the owners and get a tour of the home first. This way I am comfortable there and the owners get a chance to get to know me before having me in their home.

It’s important to me to know how the dog is around people as well as other dogs. In the case of walking a dog I need to know if I should stay clear of other people/pets or if this animal is friendly enough to say hello. Usually I avoid letting the pet near other people or animals on walks since it is not my own animal, unless an owner tells me to do otherwise.
A typical day
I love to go on walks and play outside, if possible, with pets that I care for. I also love to snuggle with animals, so cuddles and scratches are always included.

Hi! My name is Callan and I am 26 years old. I’m a teacher in Horace, ND. During college, I was the supervisor of daycare/boarding staff at a place called Petopia in Grand Forks, North Dakota. There I had experience with all different breeds and even went through a course for canine CPR and first aid training. I am offering house sitting for any size dogs. Due to living in an apartment, I cannot take animals into my own home. I am a teacher so I do work Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm, but I am super willing to meet your pets and hangout with them any time I am not working. Let’s work something out!

Callan was absolutely amazing! We have a cat recovering from oral surgery and she did a great job making sure he was eating and communicating when needed. She sent pictures and followed all instructions we had left for her. We were nervous to be gone for so long but Callan did a great job taking care of our fur babies and made the process much less stressful! I would definitely book her again!
