I grew up taking care of all sorts of animals in the home - dogs, cats, horses, birds, you name it. My job growing up was pet sitting! I have always either owned animals or worked with them in professional/volunteer/foster settings. I was also a veterinary technician for 3 years (w/ specializations in emergency and internal medicine for dogs/cats) before pursuing other career goals. I am comfortable with medicating and tending to animals with special medical needs. Bring on the babies, elderly pets, etc.! All sizes welcomed.

My house offers some limited outdoor space for your dog to explore, with all areas of the house being free range. I can crate your pup if needed. The climate is cool with plenty of air circulation. I live in a residential neighborhood away from car traffic and noise pollution.

Calla is an amazing cat sitter! I have two cats and one who hides from practically everyone, but feels safe around Calla and loves being near her. I think it’s because she has a very calm and grounding presence and has a way of communicating with cats that puts them at ease. Calla is very responsive, gives updates, and has lots of experience with animals so I feel extra lucky knowing they will be taken great care of with lots of love, cuddles, and playtime!
Calla was an excellent house/pet sitter for my cat Cheddar while I was traveling for 2 weeks. Cheddar had some health issues come up shortly before my trip and I was anxious leaving him with a new sitter, but Calla did a great job managing his multiple medications. She even kept a log of his meds, feeding, and generally how he was doing every day. She communicated well before and during her stay. She left apartment clean and tidy, brought my mail in, and watered my plants as well. I would definitely recommend Calla and will be using her again in the future.
Calla is the definition of an animal lover. She is the first person I call if I ever need pet care - she has watched my pets countless times and takes special care of my mini Dachshund Roy. She is caring, responsible, and communicative, and will treat your pet like her own.
Calla is an animal lover and a fantastic pet sitter for my pack of four. I have two indoor cats and two big labs. Calla has watched my crew many times over the years. I feel completely safe whether she is stopping by to feed, or staying in my home for longer trips. She goes above and beyond in taking care of all of their needs. With her experience as a vet tech, she is comfortable giving meds, or treating other conditions. I highly recommend Calla for any job, big or small.

Schedule
I am fully available to attend to pet friends Friday-Sunday. I tend to like to include the dogs I watch in my weekend excursions (if okay by you). I work in-person at an office Monday-Thursday, so your pet would be alone for parts of the weekdays. I’m home by 5pm. When I’m pet sitting, I make it a priority for your fur kids to get ample potty breaks.
