Calista is an absolute superstar with both of our fur babies and our toddler, too! :) Before we were lucky enough to connect with her, I used to spend HOURS looking at Rover profiles, trying to find someone who could watch our Boxer / Pit Bull mix (Charlie) in their home, who didn't have any kids or dogs of their own and who would only take on one client at a time; Calista checks all of those boxes and so many more. Charlie is a big boy (80 lbs) with an even bigger personality, but Calista just sees him as her little "Lovebug" and he adores her right back. He literally melts at her feet in anticipation of belly rubs whenever she comes to the door. I love that Calista really looks forward to her weekends with Charlie and plans little dates like taking him to the dog park when she knows it's going to be empty - not to mention rolling down the windows and treating him to a pup cup on the way, just like we would! When it comes to good communication and following directions and all of that, Calista is honestly just on another level - she is smart and professional and exercises the the kind of good judgment and responsibility that is so important when working with big, powerful rescue dogs who have been through a lot. What a treasure!
