I'd like to know of any conditions, special allergies, and medications that your pet has and needs. I would also like to know which vet in the area you would like me to contact in the case of an emergency and the contact information for the person I would need to reach out to if a situation occurs. If the pet has any fears such as thunder and lightning I would like to know how you usually handle that so that I can make the pet as comfortable and less stressed as possible.

A typical day when I pet sit varies from pet to pet, but I usually set aside time to play with them if they’re more active or I just keep them company if the pet likes to lounge around the house. Some dogs like to sun bathe in their backyards so I’ll sit with them to make sure they don’t overheat and that they have access to fresh water. Unless there’s a specified time to take them outside I usually let them out as soon as I wake up in the morning and then as needed throughout the day, plus one last time before I go to sleep. I love giving attention to pets that like cuddling, but I also give them their space so that they can choose when they’d like the attention and when they’d like to be left alone.
