Additionally, I have a prosthetic leg, which has made me more adaptable, patient, and attentive in everything I do. It’s taught me how to approach situations with care and awareness qualities that carry over into how I care for animals every day.

Caleb did an amazing job with our dog, Bert! Bert is a large German Shepherd and can be a little uneasy around strangers, but he warmed up to Caleb and did so well, which says a lot. Caleb followed his routine perfectly, took him on walks and runs, and kept us updated with photos the whole time. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Bert was in such good hands. We’ll definitely be using Caleb again and highly recommend him!

Schedule
I’m a Tennessee Tech student, and since I don’t have classes in the afternoons, I have a lot of availability to care for pets. I’m dependable, patient, and I like making sure pets stay active, comfortable, and on their normal routine while their owner is away.

When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure they stay on their normal routine with feeding, fresh water, walks or bathroom breaks, and time to play. I also spend time with them so they feel comfortable and not alone while their owner is away.
A typical day
When I watch dogs, I like to keep them active and happy with things like walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and spending time outside. I also make sure they get plenty of attention and playtime so they always stay comfortable.
