Big animal guy here. I grew up on a small farm and as an adult have done a bit of work-trading on farms literally all around the country. I've never had any pets myself since I still travel too much. But my current job is remote, and so I have a good deal of flexibility to provide dog walking or pet sitting help to others. Even though I've spent a lot of time on farms, I am very familiar with more typical cat and dog care. Growing up my family always had at least one family cat and dog, usually more. Now many of my friends have cats or dogs, and I help care for them regularly. I enjoy going on walks, regardless of whether I'm walking a dog, but having some company is always nice. And then cats and I just have an understanding (I'm a bit of an introvert)

Caleb did a wonderful job caring for our 2 pups and staying at our home while we were away. We appreciated his frequent communication and his thorough updates. He was quick to respond to my occasional check-ins and provided a few photo updates as well. He followed my written instructions well, respected our home, cleaned up after himself, and most of all ensured our pups were taken care of while we were away. He was proactive and willing to adjust his care to make sure both of our dogs were as comfortable and happy as possible. He was willing to administer oral medication to one of our pups at the last minute, which we were very grateful for. He provided our pups with individualized attention and care, which I know they appreciated. Although we have a fenced-in backyard and didn’t have any expectations or requests for him to walk the pups, he took them for multiple walks each day - he went above and beyond our expectations! We were impressed with the quality of care he provided and would welcome him back to care for Indy & Penny again in the future. Thanks, Caleb!
