My family has had dogs my entire life (as well as chickens, ferrets, and a cat!). I've helped train, care for, feed, groom, play with, and dog sit for my family and others, and I'm excited to meet some new furry friends in California! I believe that my biggest strength as a pet sitter is my ability to match your dog's energy level. I love playing tug, fetch, and frisbee, but I'm also always down for a snuggle, backscratch, or bellyrub too. I also don't mind getting licked which has helped me make many furry friends over the years :)

Caleb was absolutely amazing taking care of our dogs. He was punctual, reliable, and kept us consistently updated, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs were clearly well cared for and comfortable the entire time. Funny enough, our neighbor even thought we had taken the dogs with us because they never heard a single bark 😂, that’s how calm and well handled everything was. I highly recommend Caleb to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely great pet sitter. We’ll definitely be booking him again!

Caleb was a recommendation of another 5 star sitter that watches our boys. We are always a bit unsure trusting a new person with our fur family (and home), but Caleb blew away our expectations. Caleb is a great dog sitter! He is patient, caring, communicative, and clearly loves animals. He is very good at following instructions which eased my nerves while I was on vacation. Our dog warmed up to him right away because of his gentleness. When we got back from our trip, Caleb stopped by to drop off the key and our dog ran straight to Caleb with her tail wagging! We would highly recommend Caleb to any parent looking for a loving pet sitter.
If you take anything away from this review, remember this: Caleb is the best pet sitter you will ever find. I travel a lot for work across the country in an unexpected new job, so sometimes I need to leave my 5-year-old pit-bull lab mix named Ritchie at home. Caleb send sends me photos, texts me updates, and will go above and beyond when taking care of Ritchie. He even noticed that Ritchie was limping one time, and figured out he had been stung by a bee! Ritchie is allergic to bees, and Caleb handled the situation like a pro while I was out of town. I am so happy I found Caleb, and can’t recommend him enough. Definitely book him, but not before I do! 🥰
Caleb is fantastic with pets and would be an excellent caregiver! I have seen dogs that are a handful even for their families (including mine) do incredibly well with him. He is great at handling whatever kind of energy a dog may have. I would trust him to take care of my puppy any day!

I work full time but my schedule is very flexible, so I am available for quick visits during the day as well as weeknights after 6pm and all weekend.

I believe that building trust with a dog is crucial, so I am intentional about letting them approach me first, sniff me, and take however long they need to feel comfortable in my presence.
A typical day
I'm a very active person, so I love playing with pups. For example, I play ultimate frisbee, and I enjoy getting to share the sport with dogs. I also love being silly, so I like to chase dogs around or interact with them in other goofy ways like gentle rough housing.
