I live in a decent sized Brooklyn loft 1 bedroom apartment with my partner, won’t have more than 2 dogs at a time usually, but in the past I have taken care and boarded dogs in my home, up to 4 dogs at a time with no issues.

Pet care experience
Lived with dogs growing up, I have trained and taken care of dogs big and small for around 10 years. I can deal with high energy or low energy dogs, no matter the size or breed. Every dog is different and I am quite knowledgeable in most common dog breeds temperament and activity types. Personally I have an Australian cattle dog so I have a lot of experience dealing with tiring out high energy dogs. I work from home and will make sure that your dogs will be taken for potty breaks outside every 4-5 hours, always attended to and never left unsupervised. If you're boarding on weekends, depending on your preference, I might take your dog out with me to either the park or just a stroll around the neighborhood. If you have a dog who just prefers to chill - no problem! We will enjoy sitting back and relaxing :) PS. My dog Sage (listed on my profile) is currently staying with my family for the time being, so she won’t be here (for those of you who would like a companion for your dog)

Calandra and her boyfriend were great! They were very flexible with some holiday travel nightmares and sent lots of pictures and videos of my dog!
Could not say enough better things about Calandra. She took such great care of our two dogs, and sent the best updates while we were gone. Knowing that our dogs are with someone they love (and with their wonderful friend, Sage - Calandra's dog), makes travelling a much more relaxing experience. I truly wouldn't want anyone else to take care of our pups! 10000% recommend.
Mushu had so much fun with Calandra! She provided lots of updates, photos, and videos. He is usually nervous with strangers but warmed up to her so much and it was only his first day with her. Calandra even scheduled a play date with another dog for Mushu which I appreciate so much. Will definitely be a repeat client!
