Playful & reliable animal-lover
Animal training has been a passion of mine since I was little. Owning two German Shepherds at the time, I was able to learn how to care for animals, and practice the training methods I learned (I taught my dogs some agility, sniff work, and other tricks and commands). I had the opportunity to shadow a veterinarian for two summers, and learned about the medical side of pet care. Having owned many rescue pets in my lifetime, I have also gained experience with reactive and anxious dogs, aggression problems, breed-specific health problems, and puppy house-training & crate-training. I am 21 and in my second year at Colorado College. Right now, I can only care for pets during my breaks at home in Boulder. I would love to fill my free time with meeting and caring for animals! When I meet new pets, I really like to get to know them and what makes them happy (whether it be head scratches, long games of fetch, mental stimulation games, or sometimes just keeping out of their personal space). In the same vein, I love to teach tricks/commands, and would love to help out with that if you have specific requests.

Cal was such a kind and caring sitter for Oreo. They asked many thoughtful questions before and during their stay, which I appreciated. Oreo had an upset stomach the week of their stay, and they were patient about her issues and even took her to the vet to get her checked out and to get some medicine for her. Cal also communicated promptly every step of the way at the vet and as Oreo's condition improved. They left my house sparkling clean and Oreo seemed to be content and in a good mood when I got back. Cal was so great and I'd highly recommend them as a sitter!
Cal was able to watch Zoe on short notice and did an amazing job. Cal's communication was always super fast and they left the house in great shape. I would definitely work with Cal again!

Cal is an exceptional petsitter! Our two cats, who have complex food and medication needs, were perfectly cared for. Cal handled everything flawlessly, from cleaning up two hairballs to playing with them and giving them plenty of snuggles. We especially appreciated the adorable daily photos that kept us updated throughout our trip. We couldn't be happier with the care Cal provided!

Schedule
When I pet sit over the summers, Rover is my only job. I will be able to spend most of the day with your pet/s.
